Notes: This was another race I did for fun because it was close and looked interesting. It started on a cross country course that was mostly trails. Then, it shifted to roads. Around mile 7, we entered a nature preserve that was mostly flat, but all grass. It really slowed me down, but I enjoyed the scenery. I had a little pit stop at the nature preserve, and then I headed back to the finish on the road. All the terrain change really bothered my feet. I was happy to have Ed and MaeBe at the finish to cheer me on. There was no water at the finish, only chocolate milk. Ew! :-) Someone brought me water, for which I was thankful.
