Notes: I went to Bloomington to run the Bloomington Area Runners Association Half on a whim. I was getting kind of tired of the same ol’ courses at home, so the BARA Half offered a change of scenery. The day of the race had extremely pleasant weather after weeks of high temps and seemingly one thousand percent humidity. I enjoyed running a pace a little faster than usual. I ran a comfortable, consistent race. I almost fell down some stairs on Mile 12, but I recovered. :-) It was an informal race, but my friend noting finishers told me I was third female. Yay! However, I got only 12.9mi on my Garmin, so I ran around the parking lot to get 13.1. :-)
