Notes: That was the coolest road race I had ever done. My time was slow because I wasn't in race shape at all, but I don’t even care. Running from 80°s into 50°s was awesome. Then being underground for 2mi was like something out of a movie. (I recommend trail shoes. Footing gets a bit tough near the end.) Coming back out into the bright sun and heat for the last 0.2mi was yucky, but it was short lived. Fast course, net downhill, CAVE... what more can I say? I highly recommend!
