Notes: TECUMSEH! I was so pumped to join Larry and Becky on their trip to the Tecumseh trail half, a hilly little sucker. Our course was two loops around the lake, and they. were. BEAUTIFUL. It was chilly and fallish and just wonderful. There was a rough climb at the beginning of the loops, but everything else was fairly rolling. I particularly loved a single-track after the big hill. I was soft and had nice views. There was one creek crossing, as well. I took it easy on the first loop, but I let ‘er fly on the second loop when I knew the terrain. Unfortunately, Becky was ill and had to drop at loop 1. Larry won his age group in spite of falling in the creek. I got second in my age group. Also, Mitch and Ryan ran the quarter marathon, and I got to run with my friend Joe for a bit. It was awesome to see them all!
