Notes: I started the Seymour Half feeling a little nervous, but I never in a million years thought I wouldn’t finish. In the sixth mile, I got some tummy cramps, and by mile 9, they were unbearable. I dropped at 8.5mi, my first DNF. Mom picked me up, and we headed back to Bedford. The line of the day came from Mom. I told her, “I was in ninth or tenth when I dropped. She cheerfully replied, “And now you’re last!” :-)
