Notes: I had an absolute ball at the 2017 Mini. Mom and I enjoyed the expo, a walk on the canal, a nice meal, and some card games the night before the race. Also, I was really excited about my funny Betty Designs kit I had selected to wear for the race. The next day, I met Mitch and Ryan at the start. I ran the whole race with them. I was able to get a selfie and a hug with Frank Shorter at the bricks, after which my phone started buzzing like crazy... turns out I was on TV accosting Frank! Ha! Mitch, dressed in his cotton Limp Bizkit T-shirt, struggled a bit in the last few miles, but he brought it home with strength. We had a blast!
