Notes: I was super nervous to run in my first timed event since I had broken my femur five months earlier. However, I was blessed with super friend and family support, a flat course, and great running conditions. I was thrilled (and overly emotional) to finish in 24:01 - a PR by over a minute and a half. It was awesome to see so many friends have great races, too. Thanks to the Mitchell Persimmon Festival and Mag 7 Race Series for a great event.
