Notes: Whoa, kids. That one was AWESOME, but a mental challenge the whole way. It was pouring, windy, slick... like a brown slip and slide under a waterfall. "Put my foot here, watch that mud, don't slide, watch those rocks, water up to my knees is OK, don't fall into that ravine..." That was just some of my mental game. Bethany and I got some crap for wearing tank tops, but we both felt comfy while running. Both loops went really quickly, and the scenery was GORGEOUS. I was poised to go much faster, but I honestly think that's the best I could do in those conditions. My tummy gave me fits from mile 3 on, but it wasn't a problem until 11ish. Just a great day!
