Notes: The BMS 5K in 2016 was another unknown for me. I has been fighting an injured hamstring/quad and hadn't been running a lot of miles. I just ran at a harder-than-usual pace that I thought I could sustain. My boss passed me at about 0.7mi, but I got him back about about 1.7mi and never looked back. Of course, the highlight of the day is watching the students be successful. I was honored to be on Team Math+ and to watch Noelle, a fellow math teacher, finish her first 5K!
