Notes: My third tour of the all-night Red Eye Relay was with the six-member team Grandmaster Flashes. There were 28 legs, and I was responsible for four. My first leg was the first leg of the race, and it was MISERABLE. I have never run in heat like that in my life. I had to stop to walk at the halfway point and up many hills. Conditions were much improved for my other legs, though it was still very humid. I finished quite early and was able to spend much of the night focusing on driving my teammates around country roads in Monroe County.
