Notes: This was a tough race for me. Originally, it was scheduled to be a fun celebration of my birthday, which was the day before. However, Ed's brother unexpectedly passed away two days before the race. Ed said he wanted me to run it anyway, just so we could do something normal. Dad drove both of us up. I don't remember much about the race, except that I ran the first mile in 8:20 and suffered for it. I was very tired through the whole race and couldn't wait to see the finish line. We drove home in a very bad thunderstorm.
